Decleor is unbelievably great stuff, but with this particular cream, they have a quality control problem. I didn't buy mine on this site, but at a day spa. The samples they gave me were grit-free. Then I bought a jar and it was like a facial scrub. The spa told me they had complained to Decleor about the grit problem in some jars of Night Balm, but couldn't get any satisfaction. At least skinstore.com exchanged yours for another jar (even though that one was gritty, too). The spa told me the grit wouldn't hurt me and there was nothing they could do. It really irritates my skin and isn't usable. I tried calling Decleor in Darien CT but their phone number doesn't work.
P.S. I lived in Thibodaux LA from 1977-1990. Absolutely love LA! No place like it.
