I'm using it with CE Ferulic, as a provention product, per the recommended clean, prevent, correct, protect. regimen. It's either/or with the retinol/ RA product, but not both. RA is designed for sensitive skin, with hydration.

Absolutely not.. C E Ferulic protects your skin from UV rays and environment damage and boost collagen. The Retexturizing Activator just rids your face of dead skin cells, stimulates new cell growth, helps lighten sundamage, and hydrates.
Retinol works similar to RActivator, but you can use both together if your skin can tolerate it. Using both together will only speed up the shedding of the outermost layer of skin.
Steps according to Skinceuticals are:
1. Cleanse 2. Protect(CE Ferulic or Phloretin CF) 3. Correct (Retinol, Retexturizing Activator) 4. Moisturize 5. Sunblock.

Hi, Whenever I am in the US I buy my skinceuticals from Skinstore but I live in France and so sometimes must buy them here. I bought the Retexturing Activator today and it came with a large promotional pamphlet which said the following: Step one, Cleanse/Tone, Step Two, Retexturing Activator (every day) and if you want to boost the effectiveness, then apply retinol 0.3 (lower than what you have in the US but should not make a difference) TWO TO THREE TIMES PER WEEK, then B5 if desired. Step Three, Phyto or Phyto Corrective, Step Four, face cream/balm or AGE Interrupter. Seems like a lot of steps but this is what Skinceuticals says in their pamphlet. They say that if you want to use it in the morning, here is the routine: cleanse, antioxydant, then Retexturing Activator, etc...
So it seems that you can use it with retinor and/or ce ferulic. Hope this helps..

I use CE Ferulic in the morning, followed by Retexturing Activator instead of BG Gel, and I use the Retexturing Activator again at night. I'm very pleased with the results. I do not use retinol, but I suspect since both retinol and the Retexturing Activator are both billed as exfoliators that you wouldn't want to use both.
