answer 1
I would say yes because it contains the glycolic, which exfoliates, and would help remove the dry outer dead skin.

answer 2
This is suitable for combo skin, but a very gentle cleanser. Not a very clean feeling after rinse.

I had bad luck with it, as my cheeks were dry as well, however, some people swear it works wonders for dry skin. How? I have no idea since it is a fairly strong glycolic.

Yes, this is suitable for combination skin. It is creamy and will not dry out your skin.

I have combination skin and I love it. I am oily through the T-zone and drier at the outer edges of my face. My opinion is that you will benefit from the product. The glow you get is amazing. My skin is smoother and softer than before I used it. My skin looks so much smoother when I apply my make-up.

glycolics are great, but in my experience, you need to be careful with dry areas; though glycolics refine and stimulate cellular turnover, they are best used in moderation. try it, maybe a couple of times a week, and hydrate well after...your skin will let you know what it needs.

No, it is more of a treatment cream. Should be applied to a dry face, and let sit for approx. 3 minutes, then proceed to wash off.

No Foam at all, nor lather, more like a lotion cleanser.

Sometimes it foamed and other times it didn't . I think it depends on the condition of your skin, that is dry or moist.... It is a weird answer, but it is a weird product.

No. The product is a liquid cleaner and lathers quickly once you apply it with you fingers and manually lather it on your face.

Question

Do I have to wash my face first with another cleanser to get my face makeup off first then cleanse with the Bioglycolic Cleanser?

the directions for the Bioglycolic Facial Cleanser by Jan Marini states that it cannot be used as a makeup remover

I use an eyemakeup remover for my eye area and I usually clean my skin with a warm wet wash cloth, then pat dry with a dry towel and proceed with the biogycolic cleanser.

This cleanser feels so gentle, it will not remove your eye makeup. I have to use two types of washes, if you wear make-up I do not recommend.

You should use another form of cleanser or eye makeup remover before you use this cleanser. It has a lot of glycolic acid in it and you definitely do not want to get this any where close to your eye or in them.

I always wash my makeup off first before using my glycolic cleanser just so I don't have to use it around my eyes in that sensitive skin area.

Yes, but it will not work well with that system. There is no lather, I would try something else.

Yes. I have used it together before, but I was uncomfortable about diluting the cleanser with water. I have seen where a lot of people use their Clarisonic with this cleanser. With a clean wash cloth or your Clarisonic, it is a great cleanser!!
