Well, it depends, but my face usually get oily so my make up doesn't last long. When I apply the primer, it keeps my make up fresh looking longer than when I don't use the primer. Since it is winter, I am going to see how it will be during the summer, but I like it so far.

Initially when you apply it, your skin looks poreless and the shine is gone. It does not make you bone dry like a mattifier. It leaves a silky finish. I have an oily T-Zone. I used it underneath my powder foundation and I did not have to blot my T-zone until 7 hours later. I like the way it works.

This is a great primer, it makes your pores look smaller and makes fine lines look smaller. Makeup stays put all day.

Regular primer is beige (even lighter) color that blends into the face without color, but mattifies. If you are looking for something to illuminate, you might want to get the tint primer which is sold with this brand.

The color is a light beige and doesn't really provide any illumination. However, you could definitely try the "Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Candlelight" powder over top of foundation/powder for the illumination look as I have that and love it as well.

This has an opaque pink tint when you squeeze it out. Once applied, it is colorless. It has no illuminizing effect, but still makes skin look better than without it.

I have been using this product for about a month now , there is about half a tube left.
You do not need to use that much since you can see the coverage as you apply it.

I'm not exactly sure how much is in the tube....the ounces are stated I'm sure but it lasts a very long time. A little goes a very long way.

I would put the sunscreen before hand. Since the primer has mattifying effect, and you want to have moisturizer before using the primer.

I'd put my sunscreen on first.

In my opinion I would put sunscreen over your moisturizer then use the primed & poreless.
