I don't think that this product works, period... A bit late for the solution, but Auriderm Post Procedural Relief Kit both prevents [when used in advance of procedures for example] & gets rid of bruises.

I've been using this for about 6 weeks on overall hyperpigmentation and I'm not seeing results. So I'm not sure if it will help you. However if your spot is as a result of a bruise I don't think it's hyperpigmentation that you're seeing...probably broken blood vessels or dried blood that is still below the skin. An IPL treatment would probably help though.

For bruising seek products with Vitamin K (aka Phytonadione) close to the top of their ingredient list. If it looks like a bruise but is a topical dark scar or scrape you might need an exfoliant & lightener.

Yes, it can be used with C E Ferulic. But Phloretin CF is best for fighting hyperpigmentation. If you love C E Ferulic, you may continue to use it in combination with Pigment Regulator.

Yes, you can use glycolic acid in conjunction with this product however; the suggested guidelines for use are to incorporate the Retexturizing Activator instead. The Retexturizing Activator works synergistically with the Pigment Regulator to promote smoothing of the skin. You can always contact customer support though chat, email or phone if you have additional questions.

HI there. I use this with Retin-A micro every night and I'm not having any redness. But if you have sensitive skin, you are putting two powerful exfoliators on at once. Maybe you should use one in the evening and one in the morning to see if that helps?

Have you used retinol long? Possibly you might need to reduce the amount of days that you are using retinol. I use a .5 retinol from Topix and the pigment regulator and I have no issues. I normally use the Topix every other night and the pigment regulator every night.

I use mine at night and skinceutical serum 20 during the day.
I think using both at same time might be a little too much.

Question

Specific application?

Do you apply JUST on the freckle/spot or can it be used over a larger area? Example: I have melasma patches with darker freckles as well as lighter spots within them. Can I smooth it over the whole area or do I need to apply it specifically to the darkened areas?

Since this product is not hydroquinone based, it should be fine to be used all over the face. It does contain glycolic acid, so be careful around the lips and eyes.

Yes, you may apply over the affected areas of your skin. By applying evenly to the entire face (or affected area), the product will enhance the appearance of the skin in the areas where color is inconsistent.

This product is oil-free and is water based, it’s very light in consistency and soaks right into the skin upon application. It will not cause blocking or clogging of the pores.

Yes, they would work well together. C E Ferulic is an antioxdant product and it helps to prevent sun damage and skin aging. Pigment regulator is used if you already have brown spots that you want to treat. I normally apply the pigment regulator to my spots of concern then follow with my Vitamin C on top.

Its not a good idea to mix products. It looses effectiveness.
You can use a moisturizer after 3-5 minutes of application.
You can use on other area's but just spot you need to lighten.

It can be used on the body, but you would want to apply this product first, allow it to penetrate and then apply a lotion on top.

It depends on what your skin is sensitive to, this product does contain glycolic acid. Since it is just a treatment, you would need a moisturizer afterwards.
