No, not at all a heavy moisturizer. It feels light when you apply it but at the same time its very moisturizing. I have dry and sensitive skin and it works well for me. I was a little worried when I first used it because it was not a heavy cream but it turns out, its perfect for me.

These products do not have anything thing in them to break you out. There are no parabens and mineral oil etc. I tend to break out if the products are too rich, but these are not. They are lovely products.

I think you need to use the right kind of cleanser first. Caudalie has never made my skin break out, but up until I started useing MD Forté Glycolic cleanser about 7 years ago (when I was your age) I used to get some errant pimples on my chin or forehead between my eyes. Caudalie is not a greasy product. A little goes a long way. Try a glycolic cleanser, then follow with a spritz of the Caudalie Elixir before using the Premier Cru. I swear, I do NOT work for this company, but simply am a strong believer in the line. Hope that helps.
