Question

Does this product use nano titanium and nano zinc? What is the product's pH?

I don't know the pH. I think--not 100% positive--that it does contain nano particles, at least for the zinc oxide since the label lists "z-cote," and I believe "z-cote" is a micronized, nano particle form of zinc.

I believe this product contains nano particles. Skinsceuticals has very good customer service, so you can call them directly and ask. I would avoid any nano partices on the skin because studies have shown that they do permeate the skin and enter the bloodstream.

I would stick with mexoryl with added UV blockers. Anthelios has many great options. Tinosorb is the best sunscreen but only available in Europe, Avene sells it but the Avene sold in the US does not contain tinosorb.

It doesn't claim to be, but I've worn it to run outdoors, work in the yard, and swim and I still haven't gotten sun on my face this summer.
