With regular use this would help, providing you use extra sun protection as with any aha type product, this fruit acid peel will sensitize you to the sun so you must use proper spf to not get the opposite result...but as long as you do, I think this is the best basic exfoliation peel out there. Arcona makes a mandarin peel more targeted toward hyper pigmentation. I've tried them both and prefer this; it feels more active.

This product does not claim to reduce dark spots and I have not found that it has any effect on them. All it does is remove dead surface cells and makes the skin smoother.

This peel will help some, but it is pretty strong. I would not use it too often for that purpose. The peel is great for refining the surface.
The Arcona products that have Vit. C help a lot and they also have a "lightening"
serum you may like to try.

This peel should really help sun damage spots if you use regularly - like twice a week if your skin isn't too sensitive. It's a miracle product and a staple in my skincare regime.
