It has no batteries, no heat or electricity. Just use it as you would a flat iron while blowing dry your hair with a blow dryer. I also use a smoothening serum before I use this brush and then blow dry while using the brush. The result is less damaging heat like flat irons cause over time, but you still get nice smooth and straighter hair!

It is not a power brush (neither battery or plug in). You use it with your hair dryer.
