Yes, if you use too much and for a long period of time. I think it's meant to be more of a spot treatment thing. Remember to wash your hands if you use your fingers to apply! I normally apply with a q-tip.

I bought this product for my daughter and she told me she does have some dry flakiness on her cheeks but she was not using a moisturizer regularly. This product has cleared up her skin so fast that she has decided to use it every other day and also to add the moisturizer to her regimen.

When used over a larger area on my face, this product did dry out my skin quite a bit. I would recommend only using as an on-the-spot treatment.

If you apply a very small amount and spread it out thin, it will dry clear. I wear it under my make up during the day.

Question

Which skin care to use with 30?

I am a La Roche -Posay customer. I (30 years old) would like to have a daily cream that starts reducing first signs of aging such as wrinkles. Since I am not 60 I do not need a heavy cream but just something for the start. I have a separate eye serum that I use from Clinique. Since I have a very sensitive skin I would like to use a daily moisturising cream from La Roche-posay. I have used Toleriane in the past but this does not take care of wrinkles...
What do you recommend I should buy? Thanks.

My dermatologist always recomends Retinol, Affirm is a great product. She also says some type of alpha hydroxy, I've used one from MD but don't recall the name. Also an antioxidant, try Prevage. I switch off between the three but always use Sunscreen during the day even in the winter! Hope this helps.

La Roche Posay Redemic is super day and night! Start the day with a Mia appliance and gentle cleanser, and end the day with a good eye cleanser like Vichy or Talika, and use the Mia with a dermabrasion every other night and a gentle cleanser every other night, Use the acne cream then a good hyaluronic acid formula like Cellex Hydra 5 B Complex or others, with Vichy Liftactiv Retinol HA Day and PAT on a 30-60 SPF on all exposed areas faced neck décolletage, hands arms etc. This will prevent not only wrinkles but also skin cancer which is disfiguring and even killing many people in my age group (65) who were beach worshipers or surfers in their youth when we used baby oil. At night use your acne treatment, Vichy Liftactiv Retinol HA Night, and if it does not cause more acne you can use the Redemic at night too. Remember, a tiny bit of these products goes a LONG way. Rub these products in thoroughly, except your sunscreen, this should be patted on so it stays on the surface and remember the higher SPF allows you to reapply less often.
