Sure you can. Not to heavy on the makeup.

It should have told you if you can wear makeup. But you can wear makeup after some products, just be careful not to apply your makeup to heavy.

I hear you but you have to learn to work with it. The brochure states you can mix it with a
face cream-have done that and it makes a difference. There is much less residue and still works well. Give it a try. Whatever residue is left use a damp sponge or face cloth and dab away. The residue is a pain because the result is really tightening.
