What is the difference between the Kinerase Lotion and the Cream?

The lotion is lighter in texture than the cream. I use the cream at night and the lotion under makeup during the day.

Lotion seems to last longer. Cream is very rich and doesn't seem to go as far for the same money.

Kinerase Lotion is not as thick and moisturizing as the cream. I prefer the lotion for spring/summer because I have dry skin with ocassional breakouts on my forehead. I think the cream is best for drier, mature skins or for the winter. Also, they smell different to me. The lotion seems fragrance free but the cream seems to have this oil smell that I dislike.

Is the Lotion suppose to feel extremely sticky when applied on the face? Does the lotion bottles have expiry Dates? Im worried I bought an old bottle.
