I have color-treated hair, mostly straight but with a little wave and a tendency to be dry. I use this shampoo and PTR conditioner with no adverse effects. They keep my hair shiny and manageable.

Yes, it is fine for color treated hair. It is rich and you will need a small amount. I would use the PTR conditioner with it.
