Phloretin is good for normal/oily or problematic skin and hyperpigmentation

If you have sensitive skin, get the C E Ferulic. The Ploretin contains lighteners that can be irritating.

You should be able to use either one. SkinCeuticals states that the CE Ferulic is more targeted for a drier skin type.

No topical product can get rid of saggy skin and deep wrinkles. This product , along with use of RetinA will make skin brighter and clearer -looking and seems to maintain collagen for a slightly plumper look to the skin.

I don't know if it "gets rid" of them but helps to make them less noticeable and protects for the future

Question

Can I start using this at 24 years old?

I'm worried if I may be starting too soon and if it may be doing more harm than good if there's such a thing. I've been using Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Serum followed by Neo Strata Smoothing Lotion AHA10 at night. Thank you.

Good for you for being proactive about your skincare!!! I also grew up in a very sunny climate (Honolulu) and have always been concerned about prevention! (I just got asked to see an id card when buying wine and I just turned 42!! In the US you have to be over 21.) I think this could fit in really well with your current skincare regimen, as this product is used in the mornings. Also, since antioxidants destroy free-radicals, a cause of premature aging, this would be great for someone your age. Personally, I have never had any success with coffeeberry formulations and prefer this product. As you get older, you might want to think about adding prescription vitamin A. Sorry about the overly verbose response. Good luck!!

I used this one in my 20s I am early 30s currently. I live in a very sunny climate in Arizona, USA. So I have done a lot of product looking and worry about ingredients over time. When I looked up the ingredients in this product it did have some cancer concerns as per the cosmetic database, skin deep. I did not see any positive changes while using this product but as it is very expensive I only used it for about 6 months. I have you been using the Priori coffeeberrry line....( PRIORI Coffeeberry Brightening Facial Complex) safe and I have seen nice results on current sunspots....plus it has the nice antioxidant ingredients to prevent further damage :) PS I have very reactive sensitive skin. Good luck!

B5 is only moisturizer enhancer and is supposed to be used with either CE Ferulic or Phloretin C F. The Ferulic is an antioxidant serum that improves and corrects skin.

Actually you could use all 3. CE Ferulic is an antioxidant, your morning Vitamin C treatment. The B5 Gel is a hydration booster. It helps with preventing dehydration. The Retexturing Activator is an exfoliating serum. I like to use this at night.

No, they should be fine to be used together. The CE should be used in the morning. The pigment regulator can just be used at night or both day and night. If you are going to use it day and night, apply it to the spots of concern before using the CE.

Question

Can I apply over wet skin?

I have very dry skin and it is hard to spread around the drops. If I put it on damp skin it spreads around quite easily, Will this diminish the affectiveness of the serum.?

I've read that the reason this product is superior to other vitamin C boosters is that it's carefully formulated to actually penetrate skin cells, and applying it to damp skin will probably decrease the effectiveness. I would recommend that you apply the CE Ferulic to a dry face but follow it about 10-15 minutes later with the hydrating B5 gel, and then apply your regular daytime moisturizer/sunscreen. That gives the Vitamin C time to absorb, and the B5 gel enhances the effectiveness of your regular moisturizer. (I know I sound like a sales rep, but I'm speaking from my own experience after using these 2 products together for a few years.)

If your skin is just damp, it should not effect the efficacy of the product.

Yes, as long as you're not swallowing it! No reason topical vitamins should be a problem, absorption into the body would be minimal anyway.

Question

just bought this am treatment. what about a pm treatment?

I just started using the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic in the AM. What can I use in the PM for the best results? I have oily/acne prone skin with some hyperpigmentation and would like to improve the overall look and texture of my skin while brightening. I already have a great cleanser and toner...would like something very effective with great reviews.

Retin A would be great to use at night, especially since you have oily skin anyway - this needs a prescription from a dermatologist but it's well worth it since you would be able to tolerate the high level in the prescription product. OTC brands have low levels of retinoids that are not nearly as effective
