Questions & Answers for philosophy Philosophy Purity Made Simple

Question

I have been using Mary Kay skin cleanser. I am 62, have somewhat dry skin and use the electric exfoliating brush ordered from you once a day. .

Can you recommend a skin cleanser. I would like one that does not dry out my skin. Do you think I need two products-one to use in the evening to take off make up with my brush and one for use in the morning to remove moisturizer? I use liquid makeup on my face, but not a lot. It would be great if the cleanser could be used to remove eye makeup as well. Thanks for your recommendations.

In my opinion, u do not need to use another facial wash to remove your moisturizer in the morning. I personally use a facial wash once every other night. I only use water to rinse my face in the morning. I recommend philosophy purity made simple because it doesn't dry your skin. I personally use neutrogena make up remover (the one in the bottle where it looks like there's water and oil and they combine when you shake it) to remove my makeup. It's gentle and not drying either. I rarely exfoliate my skin because it has been humid and dry where I am, which is drying my skin. If I were to exfoliate, I would do it once every week and a half or every two weeks. It feels like if I use a brush and exfoliate everyday, it would make my skin thin and vulnerable to irritation.

I am 54, and would recommend the Arcona Toner Tea Bar (you can read my review on it for more info). I use it in the evening with my clarisonic to cleanse my face/remove makeup. You can use it in the morning, too - it's gently and non-drying, but I just wet my clarisonic brush and use it alone to remove my moisturizer in the morning before jumping in the shower. Hope this helps!

The only cleanser for everyone in my opinion is Purity made Simple. I am 53 and have been using this for about 6 years now. Removes makeup with ease. Non drying. Give it a try you won't regret it. Use morning and night.
