Question
Regarding the Smell - A question for those who've tried both the original HIAJ and this sensitive one
Hi Philosophy addicts!
A little while back I bought the whopping 8oz tub thinking that I'd be crazy not to love and benefit from the product everyone raves about.
Unfortunately for me, I could not stand a single minute of the scent. It smells to me something between a wet worm on a lavender stalk or a wet dog that's been rolling on top of lavender patch. It's one of the worst smells ever to my little nose. I had to give away the entire tub to my mother - who, by the way, has no problems with the smell. Needless to say I am devastated, as well as jealous of all of you to whom it smells healthy.
I am really keen to try the Dry Sensitive version out. Thinking that it MUST not be so heavily scented for the sensitive ladies.
Could one of you who's tried both the original HIAJ and the Dry Sensitive HIAJ kindly inform me if:
a) They both smell the same
b) They both smell OF the same, but the original one smells more potent, and the Dry Sensitive doesn't smell as much
c) They smell completely different (please describe)
d) The Dry Sensitive hardly has any smell
I am desperate to find my perfect moisturiser (and I do love the texture of HIAJ), and I only wish I could give this one a go without wanting to throw up.
PLEASE HELP, PLEASE ADVISE!

The dry sensitive does not have a smell. I also cannot stand the smell of the original and had to give it to my daughter who said that the smell goes away shortly after putting it on but the smell was so sickening to me that I could not stand to open the jar. I have been using dry sensitive for years now.

I have the HIAJ with spf 20 and dry sensitive skin. The dry sensitive skin smells a lot stronger than the spf one. The spf smells like sunscreen in my opinion....easy different than the dry sensitive skin one.

Try SILKCOAT BALM! I am a Philosophy addict, too, but do not like HIAJ. I was turned on to SILKCOAT BALM by PCA SKin- no smells! It's thick but spreads easily. It has SPF but not sure what the number is.
