it says on the bottle to ask a physician before use during pregnancy and nursing. I believe this is because it contains aspirin in it.

The box of this product specifically states to not use the product while pregnant or nursing. Check out the Belli line for products you can use while you are pregnant.

I don't think stretch marks, will ever competely come off unless surgery is involved, but this product will greatly reduce the appearance and smooth the texture of them . good luck!

I've used a few different stretch mark creams on a few areas of my body - mostly my hips and thighs. I used SrtiVectin for at least a year and never saw a difference in the stretch marks, even when applied as advised. I have very fair skin with darker pink stretch marks and they weren't changed.

I think this is an excellent moisturizer, as that is one of the causes of wrinkles, lack of moisture in the skin. A little goes a very long way, however, so just make sure you don't use too much.

I usu. don't use additional moisturizer. What I did is to give it a few minutes to be absorbed and then use cosmetics such as foundation, etc.

Question

when used as directed, how long does one tube of stri-vectin SD last?

I'm wondering if it's as, or more cost effective than purchasing products like ProV or Neutrogena which costs approximately $45-$50 per item (day, night, and eye treatments). Used very sparingly, these products last about 4-6 weeks. That's $150 each time. I just ca't justify spending that kind of money each month. Thank you for reviewing and answering my question, Cheryl Day

I use about a pea size (or smaller) amount of this for my entire face and my tube has lasted me forever. You only need a very small amount. I am not very good at using it each night, so I can't tell you for sure how long a tube will last for that frequency, but I am thinking at least 3 months.

Strivectin finally clogged my pores and made me break out on my chin. MD Forte is better and you WON'T break out. It's just expensive.

Question

Has this product been replacted with StriVectin SD Intensive Concentrate

When I viewed the product description for StriVectin SD (Better Than Botox®?) which I saw was no longer available, however I wasn't sure if that was limited to the SkinStore or if StriVectin discontinued this product from their line entirely, and if so, has this product been reformulated and renamed: StriVectin SD Intensive Concentrate for Wrinkles and Stretchmarks? In other words has product #BR002 been replaced with #BR072? Actually it may have been #BR070, but I can't go back to look or I'll lose my message again.

I've been a loyal Dermalogica skin care and Jane Iredale makeup client for many years and get excellent results - some quite amazing actually, but I have SLE (Lupus) as well as Cutaneous Lupus, so I have terrible issues with dry, red, patchy scales/lesions and sometimes get fed up because I think after long-term use - products lose their effectiveness, so I'll try/temporarily use other products that I eventually give away or become a huge waste of $ and go back to my old faithfuls. I've never used StriVectin, however I've heard a lot about them and have recently seen it more in stores. After reading more; I think a few products may really help, but I also worry that they may be too harsh for my skin, especially if they contain parabens. Parabens are my only dislike for Dermalogica products... GREAT natural and botanical ingredients, but then they get cheap and use parabens for shelf-life. Why not just use Vit-E or something?!

I've never tried Dermalogica but have used Strivectin for years. The regular and the neck tightening . I have gotten great results. It's not better than botox though as i've used that too. Also the Osmotics Lipofill is very good for lines around the mouth. It works wonderfully too. I hope this helps a little.
