Questions & Answers for Obagi Obagi Nu-Derm Foaming Gel

Question

Will this help clear acne blemishes as well?

I am turning 28 this month and still getting pretty bad breakouts. I have only been using proactive which has to change. I have heard great things about this product and I feel like I need something more grown up to prevent fine lines as well. I am open to suggestions. PLEASE HELP!

Hi, I don't know how sensitive your skin is but have you tried Gly-Sal by Topix? I love their cleansers and their treatment pads. I have also had lots of luck with B. Kamins Medicated Acne Gel.

I wouldn't recommend this for breakouts. The formulation isn't really targeted for treating acne.

Good luck!

Obagi has a relatively new line of skin care products specifically for acne. It's name may be something like "Clenziderm". I'd recommend that line as well as the Jurlique purifying cleanser. Acne is pretty much hormonal at your age and you just need to treat the symptoms. Your face will clear up and dry out as you get older. Please drink lots of water and try AHA or BHA products at night.
