It's definitely not mattifying. I have combination skin, but I always have an oily T-Zone. Anthelios SX doesn't turn white on my face, and it takes the longest to get "greasy" out of any other facial sunscreen I've tried, but it still gets shiny after a few hours. If I really need my face to stay "in place" I use Dermadoctor Tease Zone oil control lotion, or OC Eight to set the Anthelios, and it helps quite a bit. I wish somebody would figure out how to make a sunscreen that isn't greasy or shiny!

This is a great product for sunscreen, but it doesn't contain anti-oxidants, which strengthen skin and helps it fight the effects of the sun. I always put a serum or something with anti-oxidants beneath the Anthelios,to make sure my skin gets all the help I know about. I use La Roche Posay Active C cream for Normal to Combination skin beneath my Anthelios.

For your night moisturizer, use something full of anti-oxidants, skin communicators, and texturizers. I use prescription Refissa .05% Tretinoin cream. The Nia24 line targets many symptoms of environmental damage and aging. Or, if you like La Roche Posay, you could try a couple of their evening treatment products for your skin type and decides what's most effective.
