Question

What type of applicator ? (is it a brush type, or a mascara wand)? Exactly where do you apply it ? (above eyelashes?)

answer 1
It looks like a really thin paintbrush. You apply it right above your lash line and it's liquid so it will touch your lashes too. It stings if you accidentally put it on the edge of your eyelid.

answer 2
It is most similar to liquid eyeliner, a slender pointed brush on mascara lengh wand. I just swipe it across my lashline as if using liner. Let it dry before you put on your eye cream, a minute or so will do it.

It comes with a thin brush applicator making it very easy to apply along the lash line and eyebrows.

answer 4
It's a brush, just like one that you'd use for liquid eyeliner. The product -- it's like a serum -- is applied along your upper lash line in the same way that you'd apply eyeliner.

answer 5
You must apply it right above eyelash line just like you would eyeliner.

It's a fine-tipped brush, meant to put at the base of your eyelash. It's a very runny product so you have to be careful. It burns if it runs into your eye.

It does not contain prostaglandin, but it does have a prostaglandin-like substance. I have hazel eyes, and have noticed no change after three months.

No, this product has no side effects such as that. It does sting if you get it in some of it in your eye but it is only temporary and dissipates almost right away.

No. Prostaglandins rarely have that side effect, however. And certain prostaglandins right now are the ONLY products on the market proven to actually grow lashes.

How long will 1 tube last?

answer 1
I'm guessing it lasts 9-12 months depending how often you use it. It's like a liquid eyeliner size. I'm expecting mine to last a year since I don't use it all the time, maybe 25% of the time I forget.

And you only need to use a little bit every day, just one swipe of the brush per day.

As with ALL eyelash enhancers, you must continue using on a daily basis, or your eyelashes will revert back to their normal length. That is ever the case with Latisse.

I think most people see results in about eight weeks, and if you stop using it, your regrowth will vanish. I do not know if you can back off to two or three times a week usage, but I suspect you can.

answer 4
Once you are satisfied with the length and regrowth of your lashes you can go on maintenance. To maintain, use the Revitalash twice a week on the top and bottom lashes. If you do lapse over a longer period of time, eventually so will your lashes as it only makes sense. I personally am not that diligent and I do lapse but at the same time, I have not lost any significant amount of lashes either.
I think it is a well worth product and will continue to use it.

Does this product grow new lashes where there weren't any before (or at least not any for several years)?

From my experience, it looks like it grows more lashes so your lash count goes up. Either that or it makes the roots of your existing lashes thicker so it might appear that you have more lashes.

I am on my second tube, essentially on maintenace and have found no difference in performance. The Revitalash Mascara is a wonderful product as well, especially when you pair it with a good lash primer. On maintenance, I use it 2 or 3x a week and apply it to my upper and lower lashes. I am still totally satisfied and glad to have eyelashes once again!

Is there a difference between the Revitalash and Revitalash conditioner?

Yes. The Revitalash conditioner is primarily to be used before applying mascara. It conditions the lashs and keeps them healthy and from breaking off. The Revitalash, is to actually grow the last, and to be applied only before bedtime, after removing your eye makeup. d
