I have many fragrance allergies and have not noticed any discernible smells with this product.

Alterna Caviar Shampoo/Conditioner are definitely not fragrance-free, but they have a mild and pleasant fragrance.

The fragrances are very light- when you are in the shower, its a sort of clean -cucumber like fragrance. Once your hair is dry, there no fragrance that I notice.

I am very sensitive to perfumes and react immediately if they are in any product; shampoo and lipstick are the worst for me.
I use the shampoo and conditioner, both have the same soft clean smell/ I do not detect any fragrance when I smell the product. Definately NO perfume or scent. After product use; both shampoo and conditioner my hair had a soft smell of the product that fades within 30 minutes. SO there is no smell to your hair after use.

The Alterna didn't do it for me. This product is almost too weightless for my blonde hair, and I am really a product minimalist. Have you tried 'Static Guard" from the market? Works great for me whent the Santa Ana winds are charging up the atmosphere here in LA. Spray it on your brush, then brush it in your hair.

I do also have flyaway hair and hadn't found any product that effectively keeps it under control. In my opinion, Alterna is the best product that helps with flyaway hair.

I cannot say it elimates fly away, but I know it does not encourage it. My hair is laying flatter-smoother since I started using Alterna Caviar because my hair is now in better condition. I use a flat-iron every other day now, instead of every day as the appearance of my hair is so much better. I have been using this product 3 months now and love it.

I have curls like Rosanna, Rosanna Danna (if you don't know who this is, look it up). You will fall in love with Alterna Caviar as I did. It is simply the best!

I also have fine, curly, colour-treated hair and I liked Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner. Not sure if it is the "best" product as there are products that are made specifically for curly hair. I was looking more for a moisturising shampoo for colour-treated hair and found this one to be good.

Not sure about the bruenette formula, but highly reccomend that you try the Alterna cavair travel kit- it has a small shampoo, conditioner, overnight repair and hairspray. My hair once dull colored hair is so shiny it almost looks like its doll hair. This gets you a couple of weeks worth of product to try, and I think you will like it.

I have tried both...the Alterna Anti Aging Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner is the best stuff out there I've tried!!! Also, the color you are using might be drying you out as well. My hairdresser uses Chi Ionic colors on my dark brown hair, and they are great about coloring without drying out too much.
