I have used Renova one time. I think that afirm is just as good, if not better. To me? It works a lot better. I use it every two to three days and it's satisfactory for my skin.

No. The active ingredient in Afirm is retinol. The active ingredient in Renova is tretinoin.

How long does this retinol cream maintain its potency?

Buying Afirm in the past, the product usually lasts about 6 months before it is totally gone. Should I replace it before then?

I've never kept it around for a long time, before six months. I keep mine in the refrigerator on the bottom shelf.
