I've been using this product for almost a year and I would say it's probably not safe for eye area

I used on my whole face, which included the eye area, but I cannot say that I focused particularly around the eyes.

No too close to the eye. Especially since that skin is thinner, I would only apply around the eye area 2x week, not every day. Hope this helps.

I've used it around the outside of my eyes not the inside corner and I didn't experience any problems

Just my opinion: I think 15 percent is too harsh for the under eye area, maybe okay for the crow's feet, but really I would not use near the eyes.
I think this is great for the face overall while using keihl's avocado cream right under the eye at night. I wish Skin Store sold some Keihl products.

Been using neostrata for 12 years. I recommend neostrata eye cream PHA 4 instead since eye area is so sensitive. If you insist to use it without buying special eye formula, blend it with Eucerin Q10 (pale yellow cream in tub) adding moisture to your skin--apply very light of neostrata though. Start with a little bit and few days a week, then use more frequent or more cream when your skin could tolerate.

Its probably not a good idea to use around eye area. The skin there is very thin and delicate. I've been using this product for over a year now and sometimes it causes stinging on sensitive areas of my face (cheek, areas where a pimple is in the process of healing, etc..) so putting this around eye area might not be such a good idea. AHA 15 might also be too strong. A product made for the eye area that is weaker/not as strong as this will probably be more suitable....
