It is safe for colored hair. Alterna also has a Caviar for colored hair that all my friends use.

Yes, this shampoo/conditioner will definately improve your hairs colour/and colour hold as I have EXACTLY the same situation /except my hair is PIN straight.
This Alterna shampoo has NO colour (purple) tones in it, it is just a GREAT shampoo and conditioner.
I also use NEXXUS Platinum Pro Colour Toning Shampoo (weekly) to tone down the yellow. This is a PURPLE tone shampoo.

would you recommend this duo for fine thin colored hair and I do not blow dry usually; will it add any lift without blow drying?

I don't use mouse so I wouldn't add additional product to my hair, would this be the duo you'd recommend? Or, would the moisture set be better. Haven't had any luck with shampoos that indicate volume as it usually tangles my hair. Suggestions?
