I'd like to know if you can use this product during the day even though it is indicated for night use.

Because this product helps reveal your newest, freshest skin I would not recommend using this during the day as that skin can be sensitive to your surroundings/environment. But if you were to really protect yourself from harsh conditions (cold/wind/sunlight/very dry or smoky environments) it would be fine, but not ideal.

Please DONT! Ive been using this for years and recall one summer day (rushing out without SPF) getting the most red, painful sunburn & took so long to recover from. All the great repair your skin does at night can be undone and even create new problems if you dont use SPF of at least 20-30. *SPF15 i dont even trust because some dont protect from both UVA(aging) and UVB(burning) rays.*

You could absolutely use this during the day if you have oily or blemish-prone skin.

night use

Can a moisturizer be applied over this product? I am 56 with normal/dry skin but live in colorado where it is very dry and we need a lot more moisture. Thanks! I've been seeking a glycolic acid or lactic acid product for exfoliation.

In my experience, yes. I layer a moisturizer, if not another serum or acne cream, on top many nights.

hi Cyndy - this is a great all-natural exfoliating product. You can definitely apply a moisturizer over this gel, but you might need to wait a few minutes after applying the gel before you apply a moisturizer, otherwise the gel could flake off. I really like this product, I hope you do too! I also love Ole Henriksen's eye gel, which is extremely hydrating and refreshing, especially if you keep it in the fridge!

The invigorating night gel is meant to be used on clean dry skin at night; you can follow application with a light moisturizer if you wish but the collagen booster serum is meant for use on clean dry skin in the morning followed by moisturizer.
