Questions & Answers for Colorescience Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 30 Brush Perfectly Clear Matte Medium

Question

Is colorscience okay for dark (black) skin?

The product says it's "perfectly clear" with a slight tint. If you have dark skin (black) will it match your shade?

You would use this in "Deep" instead of "Medium"

It is clear but I could see a light beige color on my fair skin. I wouldn't use it on a dark skin, unless there is a much darker tone in their line-up.

Try Almost clear. I think that has no tint to it?

to come out, you just start dusting it across your skin. The bottom screws open so you can refill with powder section. There is also a brush cleaner spray you can buy to keep your bristles clean and in good shape. I have had the same dispenser brush for 2 years.

I usually either lightly tilt it back and forth before taking the top cap off the brush, or tamp-apply some of the product to the back of my hand to "prime" the brush (which I need to more often when the brush gets a bit clogged; when it gets really clogged I put rubbing alcohol on a paper towel and clean the brush).

To refill, you just turn the brush applicator upside down and there's a twist off cap (admittedly a bit hard to see) and just pour the refill powder in and replace the cap.

The bottom of the brush applicator has a twist-off cap and you just pour the refill "dust" into the applicator and put the cap back on.

Question

Olive color complexion.

Would like to know which one of these colors is the most translucent. I would rather not have color, since I wear foundation, powder and bronzer, but I don't want my face to look too white. Any recommendations?

They're very sheer and forgiving. As long as you don't use a dark color on fair skin, or a light color on dark skin, you're good. Medium or Tan should work on you.
