I typically don't use anything, but if you want to apply something before use, I would use something clear like a serum not a cream. Ideally, you would use the "Silk" that Baby Quasar sells (and includes a sample with the device). I found that, while the topical was probably useful in and of itself, it didn't seem to make the device work any better.

Before use, use a product with hyaluronic acid like Quasar's "silk". The only other product that has as much of this is Cellex C 5B. After, use your normal routine, serums for wrinkles or retinol products plus a great moisturizer. See my review for my routine. However, ask the experts at Skinstore or where you get facials for their reccomendationtions too. Everyone's skin is different.

What is a good moisturizer to use after treatement and what products should I stay away from?

They recommend using the puresoft pre-treatment and whatever you normally use as moisturizer after. The main point I gleaned from the information booklet was that whatever you use before you use the quasar is going to be absorbed more readily into your skin through use of the quasar. The product they recommend, and which they send a sample of with the quasar, has some good conductive qualities (copper I think) which is why the like it. Their concern with users putting other products on is that other products might impede the absorption of the red light which is, after all, the whole point.

I don't know anything about md formulations or vita a plus products.
I answered the first question in my review, but I use the Skin Medica TNS Regeneration System: Toner first, Regeneration system, NIA24 for dark circles and eye wrinkles, Strivectin SD (takes 45 days to work, and I don't know if I really need it anymore, but I have been using it so long I am afraid to stop.) then during the day an SPF 15 product (MD Forte right now, may change to Roche Posay) on face hands arms decolletege.

I don't know? It has been some time since I submitted that photo, and I don't get a chance to get individual shots often. I have gained a few pounds since then, but the baby quasar has taken away some wrinkles, although it is temporary. You must use it consistently. But I found out that it heals scars. It takes some time and you must use it every day on the green light. This was amazing to me as I had a complete knee replacement in 2004 from 2 skiing accidents and then falling down some stairs (there goes the knee). But part of the scar stayed red and I was emabarrassed to wear a bathing suit or short shorts, so this was a great boon and now my scar is completely white.

Both the Quasar Red and Blue are LED light therapies. The Blue is used for acne prone skin and the Red for normal skin/anti-aging rejuvenation. Though the Blue and the Red can be combined for acne prone skin. Visit the Quasar website. They are happy to answer any questions regarding their products.

LED light therapy It is not the same thing though as a Photo Facial procedure if that is what you mean when referring to Photo light therapy. For further information on various forms of light therapy I would suggest Milady's Aesthetician's Series "Lasers and Light Therapy" book. Easy to read in layman's language and it describes the various types of light therapies, what they do and how they do it and results that can be expected; along with various Laser procedures.Very much worth the time and money to invest in some of this series of books. Indeed they are a wealth of information when it comes to sorting through the confusion among various products, skin care tools and procedures. Check them all out on Amazon. You will not be sorry to have bought one or two. If anything you'll be better informed and likely more satisfied with the product you look to purchase and use.

Yes! I use it under my eyes and around my mouth mostly, because that's where I see the best results. You just have to be careful around the eyes to make sure that the light is not shining into your eye at all.

I do. Every night for a year, no problem. Be sure to exfoliate with something like Clarisonic, Dermabrasion or Philosophy peel or you will find little bits coming off your face at times. This is your skin doing its own exfoliation.

Question

Baby Quasar Red - does it have a warranty? and 60 day satisfaction guarantee?

Skin Store - I am a loyal customer. I want to purchase a Baby Quasar Red $399. while researching online I found out there was a manufacture's warranty for faulty products. I also was informed that SkinCareRX.com offers a 60 day satisfaction guarantee? Does Skin Store offer these: the manufacture's warranty and a 60 day satisfaction guarantee? Baby Quasar Red $399 is expensive - Before I purchase; I want to make sure I would receive the same protection and satisfaction warranties offered by other businesses who carry Baby Quasar Red for the same price of $399.

Just looking at the product page it doesn't look like it has a 60 day money back guarantee, just the normal 30. The quasar does have a 5 year warranty through the manufacturer.

Before you use the baby quasar you must thoroughly clean your skin and dry it. Then use a clear serum containing hyaluronic acid. The company that makes Baby Quasar has their own, sold through Skin Store, or you can use others. Hydra 5 B-Complex Cellex C Enhancer works also. I have not used any others. This must be on your face or other area of use, prior to using Baby. After, you may use any of the products you usually use. If you use it during the morning, follow your morning serum and moisturizer plus spf product regimen, at night, your night regimen of serum, moisturizers etc. I use several things both night and morning due to my age, but whatever is working for you is fine.

Question

What is the difference between the Baby Quasar Red and Lightstim Antiaging Light ? (I found Lightstim under "May We Also Reccomend Category")

My skin concerns are mostly starting to see a little sagging of the facial skin, so I want to increase collagen production to firm and tone, also some fine lines and some enlarged pores, and I have alot of redness to my face with broken cappaillaries, and I also break out in some pimples pre-menstrual. Which device will be most beneficial to address these concerns - Baby Quasar Red or Lightstim Antiaging Light ? I was going to purchase Baby Quasar Red, but after reading about Lightstim Antiaging Light, I am confused on which one would be best for me ? Please advise me. Thank You.

This is something you should ask the company and your dermatologist about. It goes way beyond my expertise. Wish I could help, but I might give you the wrong answer.
