I saw results beginning after the first week of use. The tube lasted approx. one month with one application per day. I feel this is an excellent product. My brows and lashes are now filled in and very long after 2 1/2 months of use

I started seeing results within 2 -3 weeks, so I saw results with my 1st purchase. I used it 5 nites/week (only on lashes, not brows) for about 8 weeks, then dropped it down to 3-4x/week after my lashes got too long for my tastes. The 1st year I started using RapidLash, I only needed to buy it twice.

I would say 6 months. I used it also on my eyebrows to fill them in and darken them, so I need to purchase again after 3/4 months.

specifically what is the "base of the eye lash"

when applying rapid lash it says "the base of the eye lash"----does this mean that it goes on the skin at the base----or at the bottom of the actual lash and not the skin at all

Base is where the lashes come out which will be the pores.

You are supposed to apply it like you are applying eyeliner - on the skin close to your lashes.

I put it on just as I would liquid eyeliner. You don't want to get too close because it burns if you get it in your eyes.

Hello,
The "base of the eyelash" means applying the product along the skin at the base of the upper eyelashes where the eyelashes meet the skin. I apply mine this way; painting a line along where the eyelashes meet the skin - definitely getting some product on the eyelid skin and the base of the lashes themselves. Hope this helps!

I've been using this product for ~11 months and have not noticed any change in eye colour. I definitely do not have any browning or significant colour change to my eyelids either. My lash line is *slightly* pink but I do suffer from bad allergies.

I found that it took about 3 weeks to really see a change in my lashes. Everyone loses lashes and I am sure your loss of lashes is just the normal growth cycle.

I am not sure but I know that it shouldn't fall out as much as before. Are you applying where it was instructed (no eye cream contact, on your skin where the lashes pores are?

I think it's more a case of when you're paying a lot of attention to something you notice the things that would usually pass you by. As well, the roots appear more concreted and thus the lashes don't gently fall out during the day like the used to but instead they appear when you're removing your make-up. You're probably also happy at the length of the lost lashes and thus morn their loss. Keep using the product and you'll never want to give it up, I promise ;)

I also use the same remover. I wash my face after removing my eye make-up and get up under the lower lashes as close to the eye as possible without getting soap into the eye. After rinsing my face I use the wash cloth on my lashes to remove any remaining residue.

I use the same makeup remover too. Then I wash my entire face, incuding eyelids, before applying RapidLash. I never had a problem with it interfering with lash growth.

Apply where ever your brows are sparse. Mine have filled in after approx. two and half months. You will see new growth almost immediately.

OK. I try to do that, so what I did was, make sure your skin is dry( no cream) where your brow is, then apply where the pore of the lashes and skin meets. Atleast, this is what I did.

(Adding to the earlier 'Lils' reply) Attempting to apply every second day isn't very successful as it's harder to remember bi-daily and longer gaps will limit the effects. Thus I now stick to applying it every day :). Besides, as 'benzgirl' mentioned, applying it every day isn't such a chore :).

Yes, however you don't need to use it as regularly - i.e. you could reduce the application to every other day.
**The product has enhanced the growth of the lashes that you had growing at the time of treatment, it doesn't alter your genetics. Once treatment stops there's nothing to make the lashes continue to grow beyond 'normal' and once the lengthened lashes fall out your new length will be gone also.

Yes, you need to use it to maintain the length and thickness. When you think of how little you have to use and the short amount of time it takes to apply it, it's not such a chore. (I apply nighttime only) And the tube lasts a long time.

It really depends on how generous you are in your application. It could last 3-4 months or up to 6 months. It helps too if you store the tube upright (with the screw top uppermost) so that the product isn't lost on the walls of the tube as the volume decreases.

I am in week 6 of my first tube of RapidLash and have only missed, I think, a total of 3 days maybe? At first, I was even applying to my eyebrows but have since given up on that, I quite like the way my brows look already and they are plenty long, thanks thin, hairy brows! So, to answer your question, about 6-8 weeks depending on how much of it you use. Read the positive reviews for this product, they were very helpful.

They should be fine and remain long. However, as you probably know, once you stop using Latisse or any eyelash extender product, you eyelashes will revert to length they were at beginning.

I was using Latisse 1x a day at night for about 8-9 months on my lashes and brows before I switched directly over to Rapid Lash. My lashes stayed long, but were not as dark as they were on Latisse. Not quite as thick either, but looked better than before I used anything. Losing the darker lashes and brows was not preferable, but way, way better than the side effects I had with Latisse. (I have blonde hair, fair skin and dark blue eyes.) I found that with Latisse, not only did it irritate my eyes making them dry and red all the time, it darkened the upper eyelid skin, as well as my lower eyelid - causing me to look ill because of the bad dark circles under my eyes. I have none of those side effect with RL. When I switched with no delay, I experienced no hair loss. In fact, I found that RL worked faster on my brows than Latisse. The skin discoloration I got from Latisse went away (thank God) on both upper and lower lid and brow area. I can use makeup to darken up my lashes and brows. Dark circles and chronic red eye were much more difficult to mask. I have been using Rapid lash for 7 or so months, and am very happy with it. Good price, too.
