It's kinda of a heavier cream. I have tendency to break out if it's too oily and it's been fine for me. But if your skin is very oily, I say go with "fluid" sunblocks, such as mattifiying skinceuticles fluid sunblock or la roche posay anthelios milk sunblock. Hope this helps.

You might try Elemis' Liquid Layer, which has a mineral sunscreen of SPF30 and is as lightweight as they come. Another alternative is ARCONA's sunscreen which is also lightweight (although doesn't disappear into the skin without residue like Elemis' product) and doesn't clog pores.

I always go from lighter to heavier fluids. So it'll be mists/toners/tonic waters firsts, then serums, then moisturizer/oils, then cream, then sunblock. I put this on last but before makeup.

Use any sunscreen on top of your daily moisture. I also use vitamin c & b serums the steps are Vitamin C, B serum, lotion and then the sunscreen. I recommend Nia 24 SPF 30 instead of Avene. Anything over 30 SFT is not really effective. I find that I can skip the lotion especially in the summer with Nia24 since it already has good for you ingredients. I only use moisturizer when my skin feels dry but I have combination skin.
