is this product safe to use during pregnancy?

answer 1
I am currently pregnant and have been on the hunt for skin care products that are safe for me to use. After a lengthy discussion with my OB and my Derm, the responses I received stated I need to avoid retinoids (retin-a, retinol and retinyl palmitate for example) and salicylic acid (BHAs). While some of it is precautionary, products like Retin-A and Renova were strictly no-nos. The Dr. Brandt Micrderm system does contain retinal palmitate which is not closely related to say Renova, it is still related. I would avoid it just in case, as there are alternatives. I have discovered higher % of glycolic acid in products to be of benefit to my pregnancy acne and skin care challenges.
