I use the skin lotion 2 and sometimes the skin lotion 3 and really have smooth soft skin when I routinely use them. The glycare seems harsher than the lotions. I did buy it years ago, but found my face would get red and blotchy after a few times of use. I think that the inactive ingredients in the lotion must somehow act to sooth and calm the skin. I am guessing the glycare has less inactive/soothing ingredients. I have used the MD products for over 20 years. They are fantastic. But, the glycare is just too harsh for my fair, sensitive skin.

The Glycare is for oily, acne prone skin. It will dry your skin. The Facial Cleanser II is creamy, like a cream cleanser and will not dry your skin out.
